A Problem involving cubic function IRL:
A scientist was teaching elementary students about bacteria, in the microscope, it is observed that it has 2 bacteria. After an hour, the scientist came back and counted the number of bacteria, but this time, it is not 2 anymore, instead, it was now 8 bacteria. The scientist called the math teacher, from the basis of research the scientist collected, the math teacher was able to derive that the bacteria spreads at a function of [tex]f(t)=2^{3t}[/tex], where t is the number of hours.
Hope this helps =)
