Weathering is the breaking down of rocks through contact with earth's atmosphere and waters.Overtime wind can carve stone by means of erosion. The wind can carry tiny particles of sand and stone and overtime, carve little bay little from larger stones. Usually, unless there is a natural cleavage in the stone, it will not break apart, but it will lose mass and form another shape determined by the winds.....
