How to divide decimals?

To divide decimal numbers:If the divisor is not a whole number, move decimal point to right to make it a whole number and move decimal point in dividend the same number of places.

Divide as usual. Keep dividing until the answer terminates or repeats. 

Put decimal point directly above decimal point in the dividend. 

Check your answer. Multiply quotient by divisor. Does it equal the dividend? That's all. :)
Remember: The divisor must be a whole number.

Simply move it's decimal points to make it a whole number. But remember, the decimal places must be moved also at the dividend same as how you put the decimal on the divisor.

After that, divide as usual. Keep dividing until the answer stopped or you noticed that it only repeat.

Just put the decimal point above the decimal point in the dividend.
