Crab mentality is a widely used term in Philippines given to people who always try to pull down other people who are succeeding in life and getting ahead of them. People who have crab mentality tend to have insecurities and they don't want other people to surpass them. They are conceited. they are full of positivity for themselves but full of negativity of others.They treat their comrades as competitors. They act like they know everything.
