The following is the advantages of using HPO:

  • Higher magnification in a standard level.  
  • Useful in observing the fine detail of the specimens.

The higher magnification of the HPO allows an observer to see the fine details of the specimen. This is suitable to use when observing specimen such as the striations in the skeletal muscle.
