Food coloring is also called as color additive. Food coloring enhances color. It is any dye or pigment or substance that gives color when it is added to drinks or foods. They come usually in a powder form but they can be gels, or pastes. It is used both in commercial food production and sometimes in domestics cooking. because color additive is safe and available, non-food applications like cosmetics,pharmaceuticals, home craft projects and medical devices, food coloring is used.
