The two cultures that I have experienced are to do the "Mano po" to our elders & when asked I would point at the direction by using my lips. It differs by not all cultures outside from our country points at a direction leading to someone or somewhere using they're lips. Yes, our culture affects the religion where i belong to in a postive way or effect.
