It didn’t matter how old or young they were, they were given harsh and cruel punishments and treated equally the same. The children’s dreams and lifelong goals were destroyed in a blink of an eye all because they were a Jew. Jews were being discriminated and killed all because they were born into a family of Jews. These children and adult’s lives were changed forever. They had no hope. This was going to be their new life and they had to accept it. The concentration camps were like dog cages that were fenced in. No way in and no way out without dying. They were forced to work and sleep in tiny bunk beds with many others. The Jews were being starved to death and would fight others for just the tiniest piece of bread. Their battle between life and death was a terrifying battle. People might often forget how the Holocaust truly was. No one really knows how these people lives were affected and changed for the worst.
