In my opinion, one disadvantage of research is plagiarism. In school we tend to have research work or research projects. Students copy paste from Google, which is a big no no because that's plagiarism, unless if he/she stated the source of his/her information. Copying information is like "stealing" something that's not even yours. When you research, you get to know new information about something and you don't just copy that information. It's either you explain your own perspective about that certain topic based from your research or state the source.
