If the frequency of a sound wave in the water is 15 000 hertz, and sound waves travels through water at speed of 1 500 m/s , what is the wavelength?​

Solution:

Speed of wave = frequency × wavelength

by putting values,

1500 m/s  = 1000 Hz ×  λ

λ  =  1500 m/s  / 1000 s⁻¹     (Hz =  s⁻¹ )

λ  =  1.5 m
