The air enters our lungs then goes to the left atrium, then to the left ventricles, down to the arteries and to the capillaries. In the capillaries, gases will exchange and the oxygen will stay there to be transported by the arteries. And the waste or the carbon dioxide will now goes out to the veins, then to the right ventricles, to the right atrium and now leaves the body through the lungs when we exhale.
