Rizal had written many books like the El Filibusterismo and the Noli me tangere to wake up the hearts of the filipinos and to fight for their reputation. even though he was prisoned by the spaniards, he keeps on writing this books and this shows that he is ready to give up his life just to make the filipinos realize that they have to fight for their country

There's many possibilities, why Jose Rizal become as our National Hero. The following circumstances are these; He's the first reason why the filipino at Spain fight for their rights and freedom. He fight against the Spaniards in a peaceful way. He wrote a famous novel entitled 'Noli Me Tangere' and 'El Filibusterismo' to awaken all Filipino's Heart. And many more.
