This book tells a story of a girl named Carmela, who went back to the past, specifically during the year of 1892— which is during the time of our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. Carmela falls in love with a gobernadorcillo's son— Juanito. During that time too, she met an old woman. She was told that, if she wants to go back to 2016, she will have to change the things and events that were destined to happen.
This story is one of favorites. Despite with some cliche parts of the story, I fell in love with plot and characters, and I can say the author did great. One of it's genre it Philippine Historical fiction, and I really love it. I was able to have more ideas during the Spanish Colonial times in the Philippines. I suggest this book to many, especially to people who loves reading Historical Fiction and Thriller/Mystery.
