Big scale Fishermen have more finance, better and latest assets which aid in finding and capturing the needed fish from the sea, they also have benefit more since they can easily make deals with other businesses who would want to buy there fish and also due to the amount of finance they have they can also sell the fish they have at a lower price then the local competitors.

Small level fishermen have limited finance for expansion, limited cash inflow which is dependent on them catching fish and selling it, they have low level assets and machinery, they can’t benefit from any economics of scale due to their size and it is hard for them to capture more fish due to the competition stealing their market share.
If a large scale fisher enters the market where a small scale fisher is present, the war will end with the local competitor out of business.
