Is it important for me to know my role in life?
That may be a question for ourselves like "What is my purpose in life".
If you don't know your purpose then what are you doing in this world you say? Your purpose may be making people happy even though you are living a miserable life. You may have thought of it that way, but at some point of your life you would know that you were not living a miserable life but you become happy when others are because of you. So, you need to know you purpose in life so that whatever good you are doing to people now you know that you are doing it for the good of this world and to be an inspiration to others especially to the children so that they may be like you when they grow up.

It is important for you to recognize your roles in life in order for you to carry it out effectively and successfully. Besides, it gives something that of like a goal... and in the end once of you've completed that, it gives you a sense of fullfilment.
