  • Organic hydrocarbons are primarily  carbon and hydrogen atom compounds.  Some hydrocarbons are gasses, because molecules are small and less reactive, whereas some hydrocarbons are  fluid because molecules are large and interact more with one another and have a liquid effect. Hydrocarbons are  hydrocarbon compounds.  It may be a gas and fluid basis  on the weight, hydrogen and carbon of either element.

 

  • Due to the arrangement or  size of the compound molecules.  They interact less  when molecules are small.  (Usually gases  are smaller molecules)

  • They engage more  when they are bigger.  For this reason, larger  molecules tend to settle inliquid.
