Autotrophs self feeders or producers, plant are autothrops because they can make their own food.next heterothrops , rabbit is heterothrops because they feed on plant.. so the plant is the producer, the rabbit is an example of herbivores because it feed on the plant, the next is the secondary consumers example:what do you think is the predator of the rabbit? The one who eat rabbit? Let say it's a lion.. this level is called secondary consumer because the animal are eaten by a predator.. next the tertiary consumers .. known as the top predator something with no natural enemies..but can decompose by the decomposers..example : owl eaten by an alligator.. there are no predator of alligator so, we can say that alligator is a tertiary consumers.. soon..when alligator dead it will decompose by the bacteria..then turning into nutrients..then repeat cycle...
