no, because when it is altitude, lets say it intersects at angle A, where it is 90 degrees, we didn't know the angles separated unless you solve for it, if you use trigonometric functions, you will find that the median is different from the altitude. The median bisects the angle, making it located at the middle, and those 2 angles separated are congruent because median is like a midpoint, but a line connected to it. Most medians are found on triangles though. Hope this helps =)
