Art is one of the best Highlight of Renaissance period. The Renaissance is famous for Donatello,Leonardo Da Vinci, Titian, Botticelli, Michaelangelo and Raphael are all famous names of the art world.
Another of the great highlights of the Renaissance period was the great explosion of languages.
The printing press was also invented at the beginning of the Renaissance, and Literature, most notably the German translation of the Bible by Martin Luther, flourished. Italians writers like Dante Alighieri, English writers like William Shakespeare,and Spanish writers Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra popularized the written word.
The Renaissance was also marked by significant shifs in politics and formation of many nation states which still remain to this day.
Renaissance scholars inherited many ideas about science and the world. Despite significant opposition from yhe church, Nicolaus Copernicus and later Galileo Galilei would show that the Earth and the rest of the planets of the solar system revolved around the Sun.
Scientists like Andreas Vesalius and William Harvey revolutionized the understanding of medicine.
