- Bones like the ribcage and skull provides protection to the internal organ inside it. The skull protects the brain, and the ribcage protects the lungs and the heart and other internal organs.

- Skeletal system provide support in order for us to moves. Joints are design in multiple motion ranges and muscles are attach to the bones and by contraction it will make the body move accordingly.

- Bones stores important minerals like calcium and phosphorus. Calcium is essential component for muscle contraction and blood coagulation cascade. Phosphorus is important component of cell membrane and nucleic acid.
