Worshipping Him is the purpose of living.

We need to prepare ourselves for the coming of Jesus because worshipping God is the real purpose in life. We need to prepare because we will be in the Judgement where He will judge us based on our way of living, whether we like it or not. By that day comes, there is only two paths we can either go to: Heaven and Hell. Heaven where believers are with God, and hell where those unsaved suffer.

How do we prepare?

We can prepare ourselves by accepting Jesus as our Lord and personal Savior. We can pray and beg for forgiveness of our sins and start to live and do things that glorify Him. Still, it is not in the good deeds we are doing, in the religion we joined in, but it is in how we believe and accept Him.
