Whether or not your sample is randomized would matter more if you wanted your data to reflect the variability inherent in the population. By proxy anything that affects your qualitative data would in turn affect the inferences from the results of the quantification of said data. Even if you are only looking at descriptive stats, they will be affected by your sampling technique.
