USES

2) Dimethyl glyoxime reagent –

USES

3) Fehling’s solution –

Fehling’s solution is used to distinguish between aldehyde and ketone.

Aldehyde gives a positive test and ketone gives a negative test except for α – Hydroxy ketones.
