What causes salvation, religion, or faith?
Faith
Although religion taught us about the word of God and salvation, it is our faith that can save us. The Bible says, that through faith, we are saved.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8)
Faith is believing in something we don't see yet.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1)
God gave His son for us to be saved, and through faith, we can partake of the promise of everlasting life.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
(John 3:16)
