Hitler declared war on Europe or started World War 2 is because he had an aggressive nature and when he game into power as Chancellor during 1933. He took the chance of having an aggressive foreign policy which violated the Treaty of Versailles. The Treaty of Versailles is also the reason why he wanted to start a war. The Treaty burdened Germany and the Treaty fueled the hatred of many Germans like Hitler as it was proof of their defeat and it was extremely unfair.

Hitler also started a war because he had some personal beliefs which included that Judaism and Communism are pure evil. Only the "Pure" shall be worthy to live so discrimination, mostly racism, was one of his reasons to start a war.
