It is true that only few people work on compiling folk literature. Those folk literature only spreads on provinces and not that civilized places. They compile these works not just written but mostly through telling stories on folk tales that made it more on verbal compilation. Some historians with interest in folk literature made their effort to compile some to preserve and introduce it in the future.
