substituting equation 3 to equation 2 you'll have:

-6y - 4 - 3y = 14
-6y - 3y = 14 + 4
-9y = 18
y = -2
substitute to equation 3
x = -3y - 2
x = -3(-2) - 2
x = 6 - 2
x = 4
