Leonardo da Vinci was an ideal of Renaissance humanist, a polymath, a genius. He was an inventor, painter, sculptor, engineer, mathematician, musician, anatomist, architect, botanist, and probably more. His most famous paintings are Mona Lisa and The Last Supper, and both are examples of the best Renaissance art.
His deep interest in anatomy, the phenomenon of flight and innovative machines also exemplified the Renaissance spirit.
