how does a chemical change differ from a physical change?
chemical change- there is a new substance formed and you can never get it back the same thing you had it (ex. burning/combustion) and also there is a change in chemical composition
physical change- there is a change only in physical composition and you can bring it back the same way you had it (ex. melting) and there is no new substance formed
chemical change cannot be returned to it's original form example you burn a paper so the paper turned into ashes so it is not a paper now it is now turned into ashes while physical change can be back to it's original form example you tear a piece of paper it still a paper.
