Microsoft Powerpoint is a slideshow and presentation application software that allows users to develop slideshows for presentation and lectures purposes.
When we say presentation software, the main interface of the software is consist of a blank square space called slide. Each slide can contain objects like : texts, clip arts, still and moving images, links, short clips and audio clips. A file created using powerpoint is called a slideshow. A slideshow is consists of many slides that can be played in ascending and individual order. Another feature by Powerpoint is called Custom animation wherein user can add animation effects on the objects within the slideshow. Example of known animation effect in Powerpoint : appear, flight in, swivel, fade in/out etc. Aside from custom animation, user can also add slide transition, which means, how the slides would change and appear in the slideshow. It also covers the timing and behavior of the transition.
