the story "hands of blacks" talks about a boy who was wondering why the hands of black people are lighter than the rest of their bodies, he asks several people (his techer, fr. christiano, donya dores, the Coca-Cola man, senior frias, donya estifania and his mother) all of the give different stories about why the palms of black people lighter than the rest of their bodies but his mother gave the only correct statement which goes somewhat like "because God wants them just the way He wants to"
