1. Left Atrium

Description - One of the heart's upper chambers that plays a role in blood circulation.

Function - Receives oxygenated blood from the lungs and then empties into the left ventricle.

2. Left Ventricle

Description - The thickest of the heart's chambers and its cavity is circular in shape.

Function - Pumps the oxygenated blood to the whole body through the aorta.

3. Right Atrium

Description - One of the heart's upper chambers that plays a role in blood circulation.

Function - Collects deoxygenated blood and directs it to the right ventricle.

4. Right Ventricle

Description - Comprises a thin wall and its cavity is crescentic in shape compared to its counterpart.

5. Valves
