My expectation in dress making is to learn how to make dresses, properly use the dressmaking tools, get along with my classmates, and enhance my skills.
As a Grade 10 student now taking the TLE dressmaking major, I have experience in the dressmaking field. There, I expect a lot from my mentor in terms of how she will teach me. For example, this day she will teach me how to sew by hand, and the next day I expect that she will teach me how to sew through the use of a sewing machine. Also, I wanted to be friends with my new set of classmates. Sharing ideas with them can encourage me in the long run.
Furthermore, I expect that my skills in making dresses will enhance so that I can make the dresses I want. I can apply this to our home by being creative, putting designs in it, and making it lively so that people might wear it.
