In Shannon-Weaver's model, communication involves several elements: a sender expresses a message.
which can be information, emotions, or actions, intended for a recipient. This message is conveyed through
various channels like language, signs, or body language. The sender encodes the message to make it
understandable, while the recipient decodes it to interpret its meaning. This model describes communication
as a one-way process of receiving and sending messages.
Frayer Model 1 We are going to fill out our modified Frayer Model. As we start, I will be asking you to do the
first two steps of the Frayer model. I will be filling out the rest of the steps.
Step 1: Write the word/phrase/main concept in the center of the model.
Step 2: Define the word by getting the key ideas from the text read.
