The event was graced by esteemed figures in the educational field, including the Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Debbie S. Lasam, and the host Principal of Villa Cacho Integrated School, Dr. Sonny T. Dalit. Notably, other Principals from various Elementary and High Schools in Quirino attended the press conference, emphasizing the collaborative effort to promote writing excellence among students.

A diverse range of writing activities in both English and Filipino languages were contested, covering News Writing, Editorial Writing, Feature Writing, Science and Health Writing, Copy Editing, Headline Writing, Photojournalism, and Column Writing.
