Yes, I agree with Vygotsky's Sociocultural Development Theory. Because as a child, reality as we know from our parents, society, culture, religion and the likes can manifest the way we think. And it also helps us perceive and shape how we want to be as we grow up. These are some of my experiences that were being shaped by society;
- I saw how scientists invents instruments/tools/machines, etc. to help benefit the society. And that made me want to become a scientist so that I can help a lot more people.
- Philosophers were able to convince and change human mindset by understanding their wisdoms such as the ideal of Stoicism and it made me to think that way as I live on.
- I also found out how to use a hammer and a couple of carpentry tools by watching my father interact with these things when he is repairing around the house.
