Symmetry is a concept in which one half of an object is a mirror image of the other half. In other words, if you were to fold an object along its symmetry line, both halves would perfectly match up. Symmetry is when one side of an object looks exactly like the other when folded in half. For example, a butterfly has symmetrical wings - they look the same on both sides.
