I don't think failing because of your race, age, or gender is correct. having standards is fine sure but do they really need to base someone who is more qualified to have the job than someone who has more potential and can also be qualified? being equal is always required. all people are the same creatures and the same living persons. they should know to be correct, everyone is qualified to do anything. you are already disrespecting a person's capability when you judge them on their race, age, and gender. equality is for everyone.
