The National Service Training Program (NSTP) is a program designed to increase youths' civic awareness and defense readiness by instilling in them a sense of duty and patriotism while they get training in any of its three (3) program components.
• Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC)
A program created to give tertiary students military training in order to motivate, prepare, organize, and mobilize them for preparedness for national defense.
• Literacy Training Service (LTS)
A program intended to prepare students to teach literacy and numeracy to students in schools, unemployed youth, and other groups in society who need their help.
• Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS)
It is made up of initiatives or projects that advance the community's facilities or overall well-being, particularly those that focus on enhancing the public's morality, safety, and the areas of health, education, the environment, business, and recreation.
Those program aims to increase youth consciousness, raise awareness among young people, and enhance their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual, and social wellbeing. It will foster nationalism and patriotism in young people and increase their involvement in public affairs.
