I may not have experienced celebrating for any huge discoveries, but I shall consider this experience as a Eureka moment.
I was in grade 5 and was very bored at home when I remembered I had this project I have to make by this week. I took the paper that contained the instructions for some sort of experiment for science which was in my backpack.
The instructions weren't too complicated, in fact, they were so easy a baby could have done it if they had the right ingredients. You only needed 2. A cup of vinegar and a tablespoon of baking soda. The paper instrucred to mix them both in a bowl so I did.
As soon as I poured the baking soda into the vinegar bubbles started forming. Not the kind of bubbles you see in a soapy bath, but the kind you see whenever you pour soda in a different container. I was so amazed that I kept repeating the procedure until we eventually ran out of vinegar.
So there you have it. The most Eureka moment an 11 year old could have ever experienced.
