what might happen to a person whose nervous system and endocrine systems fail to maintain homeostasis?

Sagot :

The person would be in great danger or worst will die from a particular experience. The nervous system is the part of the body that recognizes electrical impulses from senses the body has (e.g. seeing, hearing, feeling, etc.). The endocrine system is responsible in producing chemical impulses in the body that help control behavior of an individual. Homeostasis is the process by which both systems work hand-in-hand to react to certain stimuli present in the environment. If for example, a person crosses the street and does not recognize seeing (work of the nervous system) the approaching car, the endocrine system will not produce the necessary chemicals to react to the situation. The person would then be injured or might die from the incident. The electrical impulses sent by the brain is then closely related to the chemical impulses that the different endocrine glands will be producing to fit the stimuli present.
