1. Tape measure
A tape measure, or measuring tape is a type of hand tool typically used to measure distance or size. It is like a much longer flexible ruler consisting of a case, thumb lock, blade/tape, hook, and sometimes a belt clip.

A caliper (British spelling also calliper, or in plurale tantum sense a pair of calipers) is a device used to measure the dimensions of an object. Many types of calipers permit reading out a measurement on a ruled scale, a dial, or a digital display.
3. Thermometer
A thermometer is an instrument that measures temperature. It can measure the temperature of a solid such as food, a liquid such as water, or a gas such as air. The three most common units of measurement for temperature are Celsius, Fahrenheit, and kelvin.
4. Micrometer
A micrometer is a tool used for the precise measurement of very small objects. A micrometer can measure the depth, length and thickness of whatever object fits between its anvil and spindle. It is commonly used in mechanical engineering and machining
5. Protractor
A protractor is a device used in drafting and drawing: it's mainly used for drawing and measuring angles. Don't show up to geometry without your protractor! In math class, you use many tools, such as a calculator. Another is the protractor, which is handy when you're studying geometry.
