There are 2 main categories of felony such as: a) violent and b) non-violent

a) VIOELNT FELONIES --> are crimes which includes murder, attempted murder, manslaughter, aggravated assault, rape, sexual assault, arson, and robbery (both armed and unarmed).

b) NON-VIOLENT FELONIES ---> these includes property offenses, drug offenses and white-collar crimes.

Property offenses are burglary, larceny, fraud, forgery, and other types of vandalism and receipt of stolen property.

The most common felony charges are drug possession, aggravated assault, arson, burglary, murder and rape.
