for me as a citizen in Mindanao. A percussion instrument would be best to describe it. Percussion instruments are mostly loud, well, depending on the dynamics of course. But it doesn't mean that being loud is a bad thing, it can mean something else, or maybe something great. Not just because drums or kulintang are examples of symbolisms for wars and troubles but it also mean for strength and boldness.
