  • 1.) 25% of 40 = 10

Solution:

  • P = 25% ÷ 40
  • P = 0.25 ÷ 40
  • P = 10

  • 2.) 10% of 90 = 9

Solution:

  • P = 10% ÷ 90
  • P = 0.10 ÷ 90
  • P = 9

  • 3.) 50% of 60 = 30

Solution:

  • P = 50% ÷ 60
  • P = 0.50 ÷ 60
  • P = 30

- if you dont know how to change percent into decimal..just divide the number of percent in 100.

Example;

50%

  • = 50% ÷ 100
  • = 50 ÷ 100
  • = 0.50
