1. Assemble three toy cars following the steps below:
a. Make a hole at the center of each plastic lid. The plastic lid will serve as the
wheel of the car.
b. Cut the straight straws in hall and tape each at one end of the cardboard. You
will be using two straight straws for each cardboard.
c. To make the car axles, thread a barbecue stick through cach atraw.
d Thread the wheels on the barbecue stick by using plasticinel clay.
2. Set up the power source of the toy car.
a. Turn the cardboard over and tape the bendable atraw along the length of the
car. The straw should poke over the other end.
b. Do the same step for the remaining two toy cars.
4. Inflate the three balloons by blowing through the straw. Make sure that they
have the same volume.
5. Place the cars on a clear, smooth sur ce and let the balloons go. Do it at least
three times and record the time and velocity covered by each toy car before it
took a stop.
