Supplementary Angles
Two angles are called supplementary when their measures add up to 180 degrees. One way to avoid mixing up these definitions is to note that s comes after c in the alphabet, and 180 is greater than 90.

Two angles are called complementary when their measures add to 90 degrees. Two angles are called supplementary when their measures add up to 180 degrees.
Adjacent Angles
Adjacent angles are two angles that have a common side and a common vertex (corner point) but do not overlap in any way. When you break down the phrase adjacent angles, it becomes easy to visualize exactly what it is; they are two angles that are next to each other.
Linear Pair
A linear pair of angles is formed when two lines intersect. Two angles are said to be linear if they are adjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines. The measure of a straight angle is 180 degrees, so a linear pair of angles must add up to 180 degrees.
Parallel Pair
The pairs of lines that do not intersect or meet at any point are called parallel lines. These lines lie on the same plane but do not intersect. The line segments or rays that lie on the same plane but do not intersect are also parallel. In the above example, the two line segments PQ and RS are parallel to each other.
