Biotechnology (biotech) is a branch of
molecular biology. It studies the use of microorganisms to perform specific
industrial processes.
In the Philippines,
they mostly use biotechnology for the improvement of agriculture. They also
utilize it for the preservation of species in their place, improving the lives
of people, etc.
