By definition, superstitious beliefs have NO scientific basis.
But I think one has, the belief on bad luck in asteroid. They "believe" that the asteroid hit the earth many many billions of years ago, and that asteroid is a bad luck for the dinosaurs, and if it happens again, then bad luck will happen again. That is a scientific basis.
