I've learned that it takes time. that it's more than putting a bead on the end of a string. I'm still working on it.
i started this year knowing nothing about how to make jewelry. no jewelry kits, no jewelry classes, no jewelry making groups. so for christmas, i made my husband a simple but functional sterling silver bracelet with some freshwater pearls that were sitting on the floor in a box. it took 2 days to make that bracelet. i really liked it but it wasn't perfect. i have always wanted to design my own jewelry and for a few years now i've been searching on line for tutorials and patterns to download.
